Pad Thai You can have Pad Thai using 22 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook that.

Ingredients of Pad Thai

  1. You need of Rice sticks (dried rice noodles).
  2. It’s of Chicken/pork/beef/shrimp (choose one).
  3. It’s of as needed Oil.
  4. You need of Garlic (minced).
  5. It’s of Egg.
  6. Prepare of Carrot.
  7. It’s of Onion.
  8. It’s of Sauce.
  9. You need of 3/8 chicken broth.
  10. You need of Fish sauce.
  11. Prepare of Brown sugar.
  12. You need of White sugar.
  13. You need of Tomato ketchup.
  14. It’s of Soy sauce.
  15. You need of Lime juice.
  16. It’s of 1/8 peanut butter (if desired).
  17. Prepare of Accents.
  18. Prepare of Peanuts.
  19. It’s of Green onion (chopped).
  20. Prepare of Lime (cut in 4-6 slices for garnish).
  21. You need of Bean sprouts.
  22. You need of Red pepper (crushed, use for garnish).

Pad Thai instructions

  1. Put noodles in pot with water and set on stove on lowest temp for 1 hour check occasionally to make sure they do NOT get over cooked.
  2. While noodles cook, put all ingredients for sauce together and let come to a small boil then let simmer..
  3. Put the remaining ingredients in another pan and let simmer together while watching and stirring so not to let the food burn. Use oil if needed..
  4. When noodles are done, drain BUT DONT PUT BACK IN POT YET! Put all together EXCEPT NOODLES then add noodles to desired dryness. I enjoy less noodles for more soup like..
